Hello,

I am thinking about buying a spin bike and I was wondering if someone who knows something about them could tell me about this brand. http://www.fitnesssource.ca/fs/cardio/indoor-cycles.html?p=3590
Someone in my area is selling the same bike used for just over $300. I want to know if this is a good deal or if I should keep looking.

I would like to know how difficult it is to get some form of cadance monitor hooked up (I've been told by my road biking friends that this is key)

And how hard it would be to switch the pedels for a set of clip ins?

I would offer $200 and settle for $250-275. You can put a cadence meter on it. You can buy a cyclocomputer with a cadence feature or make one from a $10 Schwinn cyclocomputer from Walmart. A heart rate monitor will do you more good then anything else. Yes, you can replace the pedals with anything you want.
