Value? Approaching zero. A recent eBay auction sold one for $20 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Next-Flat-Spin-Bmx-Bike-/250807922447 ,
You can't expect a bike that originally sold for $60 at Walmart to be worth much... no warranty, no service.

Best beginner bmx bike for a decent price? Street or flatland?

Jordan
I've always loved bmx, so i decided to go for it and start learning. i don't really know a ton about bmx bikes themselves, but i'm looking for a really good bike for a beginner, preferrable for a cheaper price. i know a lot of the brands, and i know how pricey they can get, i just don't have that kind of money(:
im a 15 year old female if that helps at all. i'm also not sure if i should get a street bmx bike or flatland. right now the only place i can really ride is just concrete, sidewalks, streets, etc. so that would be more flatland. so i was thinking of getting a flatland bmx bike for now, and if that doesn't work out i can always try street?
like i said, i'm a beginner. any advice or opinions would be appreciated(:

Ariel say 'Flatland is not all that fun'... Well that's because he/she can't or doesn't ride Flatland. Believe me, when you flip your bike upsidedown and spin it in really fast in on the spot and everyone passing by stops, watches and says that's the coolest thing they've ever seen... now that's what I call FUN..!! :)
Flatland IS defficult, and that's why ppl say it's not fun. It takes a while to get the hang of new tricks, but when you gat the hang of them it's a load of fun.
Check out the DK Opsis, it's on sale at flatlandfuel.com for $280 + shipping. Great value and good quality for a beginners bike.
You can do Flatland anywhere. In a parking lot, on ur street, on ur driveway, in ur garage, or at the local basketball court. You don't need a skatepark to do it.
