It's tough to stick to something you don't like. I would choose what you would most enjoy & depending on where you live, if the weather allows you to walk, run or bike, you will need a backup plan for when the weather is bad. Also get those wrap around leg/ankle weights. An option is to join a class at your local gym. Usually they will let you try it free for 30-days. If you do, go daily. Also if you join, the 24 hour fitness will allow you to pay upfront for a "deal" for the lowest yearly fee. I did this & now renew for only $100 a year.
I have a stair stepper at home but wish I could get a good spin bike. I took some classes years ago at the gym & in 3 months I was in the best shape of my life. Doing some sit ups & arm exercises after or before the class balanced everything out. Seems (I don't know if you're a man or woman) but with women, seems we fight our arms, rear, tummy & legs. Having any bike indoors or out, is really a great way to whip yourself in to shape. Usually which exercise you choose may focus on the parts you find toughest to combat. Buy some arm dumbbell weights when you want to do them at home. Maybe 5 & 8 pounds.
Also, totally eliminating bread for 30-days will show you a HUGE difference (both sugar and bread) Instead of bread have baked crackers near by to eat with some meals. Also if you're having regular milk change it to Almond milk but check the sugar content of all of them to choose the one with the least amount. Eliminating foods that contain or alter your hormones can make it impossible to control your weight.
Go shopping for proteins like Organic "free range" hormone free eggs & chicken breasts.
Also buy up POUNDS of organic fruit & veggies, cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, zucchini, squash & such & buy a super duper steamer at Macy's, Walmart or Target. You can use the "I can't believe it's not butter" to pour over steamed veggies it has NO calories (the spray not the bin) COMPLETELY stay away from fast food places all together. No McDonald's, Wendy's, Burger King, etc. Totally cut out fruit juices & soda's for 30-days. Buy some organic garlic & spices as well to flavor your foods. If you take one day & cook like crazy, you can place a huge amount of steamed veggies & chicken breasts already cooked in to the fridge ready to quickly heat up. take 1 dozen eggs & boil them all & put them in a bowl for your breakfasts - another dozen to cook up when you feel like it. Buy up frozen blueberries (or not frozen) & if you have cereal with almond milk, don't add sugar, have cheerios plain, put fruit in the bowl. Stay away from banana's awhile, they contain the most sugar. You can buy almonds also to put in the cereal it's really good this way.
- BREAKFAST: 2 eggs with sea salt -2 peeled apples, water
- LUNCH: (make this your biggest meal of the day)
Steamed veggies with 1 to 2 chicken breasts, crackers or baked potato chips, water. (The more you exercise, the more protein you will want to have to keep your body fueled)
DINNER: (don't eat late)
Soup & baked crackers, maybe put veggies in the soup. You can always water-down the soup to cause you to feel more full than you really are. You can buy chicken bullion cubes to make broth, then add in all organic veggies & chicken breasts & make a huge pot of this to heat up quickly. It's SO delicious, I made a huge pot & all week ate a bowl every night. WAY better than canned soup.
Just eliminating the bread, sugar, fast foods fried foods, cheese & soda will make a world of difference.
Remember, you don't necessarily want to eat less, in order to burn fat, you need energy & you may even eat MORE but with the right kinds of foods you will have energy to have very strong workout eliminating fat & reshaping your body the right way.
You will probably also notice an improvement in your skin as well from changing your diet. Try this for 30-days & see if there's a difference in how you look naked, how you feel & your energy levels. If you like it, keep it going & maybe find a great cook book that is based on eating healthier.
If you're stuck where you must have fast food, go to el pollo loco & get the chicken breasts & veggies, skip the tortillas & bring bottled water with you everywhere you go.

does anyone know how can i lose 10 to 15 pounds in a month?

okay am 22 years old 5'1'' and weight 153 am like 20 pounds over weight i've been trying to lose weight for the past 2 months i've also been drinking green tea but it doesn't work.

You need to watch your carbs. Look at the nutrition lables on the foods you eat. You need to eat small meals with snacks. Lots of fruits and vegies and lean meats. Stay away from fast food and processed food. East wheat bread instead of white and eat brown rice instead of white rice. Avoid foods high in starch as these turn to sugar (i.e. potatoes, corn).
Also, you need to workout at least 30 minutes a day. I ride my spin bike for 30 minutes each day. You will also firm up doing this. It burns more calories than walking. Just turn on the tv and ride. Keep in mind that muscle weighs about 3 times more than fat - so if you build muscle you may not lose weight on the scale, but you will lose inches.
Another great exercise which is acually noted as being the second best exercise for you is called Rebounding (exercising on a mini trampoline). Swimming is the best exercise. Walmart has a mini tramp for about $30.00 with a DVD. I bought one.
