best spinning bike brands image

Katie
I have been training on a Spin bike but now need to ride on the road a month before my Triathlon. The course is very hilly. I know how to change gears but don't know if I should be on an easy gear with more revolutions on the incline or at a harder gear and be at more of a "mountain bike push" while going up the hill?
Answer
Use whatever gear is needed to maintain at least 90 rpm. There is NO right or wrong gear. You should also be able to accelerate in whatever gear you're in. Got a cycling computer with cadence counter? If not - get one. http://www.cateye.com/en/products/detail/CC-RD200/ That one or any other good brand.

Can anyone give me knowledge on spinning stationary bikes? particularly in the area of shopping for one?

hello, im looking to buy a spinning stationary bike, one of the expensive ones .. what are the top brands etc?
Answer
Get an entry level road bike and install it on an indoors trainer. That will allow you to take it out when the weather is nice.
The stationary bikes are heavy and much more expensive than a decent road bike.
