My washing machine only sometimes goes fast on fast spin cycle? I have a kenmore washing machine and it only sometimes goes fast on fast spin cycle. What is causing this and what could i possibly do besides trashing it and paying someone to fix it? I d like to do it myself if possible.

i also have kenmore. I would suggest you put less clothes in the washer.
i've found that if i put too much in the washer, sometimes it won't spin at all. I remove some of the heavy clothes and walla the washer goes back to normal.

My washing machine wont drain fully during the spin cycle leaving some clothes soaked..what might be the problem?
this is a Tappan mid 90's model.. the model number might be 52Az some times it doesnt drain all the way during light or medium loads.What might this be?

Sounds like the drain line is clogged, or the water pump is broken.
