I've purchased a magnetic indoor cycleops bike trainer and set it up. its a tad noisy but nothing i normally worry about. its just when i go into sprint speed on my bike, (35 - 40 mph) the trainer sounds like it going critical in this loud vibration. I personally don't know the capabilities of the product, but i natural instinct tells me its going to explode. please, feel free to educate me on the topic.

Answer
Those sprint speeds are pretty fast. Keep in mind that the flywheel of your trainer spins much faster than the wheel of your bike. If your bike wheel is spinning at say 1000 rpm, your flywheel is spinning at least 15 times as fast. All that said, if your trainer is a bit noisy at normal speeds, I would ask the dealer where you bought it if the noise is normal.

I am looking to purchase an exercise bike, cannot decide which is better? Any suggestions?

I was initially looking for an upright exercise bike, but then I noticed the indoor cycles (use for spinning). Now I am not sure what to get. I need something that's quite, use it for cardio training and develop leg strength. Any bike model suggestions will be more than welcome.

Thanks!!!

Answer
Check the local ebay, craig's list, paper, Salvation Army, or Goodwill for a used one. People buy exercise equipment all the time and only use it a few weeks. A real bike is a lot more fun and you will do it for hours instead of 15-20 min. When the weather is bad put it on a trainer.
